Stained Glass | Risen Christ Church / Adoration Chapel - Denver, CO
Updated: Dec 19, 2018
James Sudler, a leading Denver architect, was commissioned to design the “ski jump” church, the first modern design church in the archdiocese pf Denver. The architect was inspired by the work and designs of Charles-Edouard Jeanneret-Gris Le Corbusier’s building, Notre Dame du Haut, France, to which the Church of the Risen Christ bears a striking resemblance. The building was completed in 1968.
The southeast side of the building was enlarged to create the Adoration Chapel completed in 2006.
