"Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year"
Serbia was the first country from the territory of the former Yugoslavia to get its representative at the World Entrepreneur of the Year. Of the 23 chosen candidates, one took the prestigious title of "Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year" and participated in the best-in-the-world selection that this auditing and consulting company organizes each year in Monte Carlo. A prize whose purpose is to give recognition to outstanding individuals and their achievements in entrepreneurship, established 26 years ago in the United States.
"This award, which is being awarded all over the world, is an expression of support, encouragement and respect for entrepreneurs who inevitably contribute to the economic growth of each country. We are very happy that our candidates and candidates come from 12 cities of Serbia," said the evening ceremony in Belgrade Ivan Rakic, Executive Manager at Ernst & Young in Serbia. The winner of the award is decided by an independent jury with no representatives of Ernst & Young, but is made up of previous winners as well as relevant representatives of the entrepreneurial and academic sector.
In addition to the general conditions, the independent jury evaluated key factors such as entrepreneurial spirit, financial indicators, strategic orientation, presence in the regional or international market, innovation and personal integrity when choosing winners.
